The historic 149-acre Bromley Estate, with one of Jamaica's best-known estate houses, is the last remaining property of the late Sir John Pringle. Bromley has sweeping views of the St. Ann hills and has been in the family for over 100 years. On the main level: two large master suites with private bathrooms and verandahs; a third en suite bedroom; a dining room; living room that runs the width of the house; kitchen and laundry. On the lower level: two twin en suite bedrooms; large living area, games room; and storage area. Total: approx. 7,500 sq ft. The oldest part of the house dates back to the 18th century- the cut-stone foundations still have gun-slits. Many of the out buildings have been converted into charming rental cottages. More recently Bromley has been the venue for the arts and yoga retreats with visitors enjoying the unhurried ambience of this very special place.
